Week Two Vampires

           I’ve watched The ‘Fearless Vampire Killers’, and ‘What We Do in the Shadows’. The ‘Fearless Vampire Killers’ was old quite typical movie about vampire tried to eat virgin’s blood of the house he stayed and get punished by muscular guy from the house. ‘What We Do in the Shadows’ was the movie that is soot like a documentary about normal day of vampires. Vampires in media are usually try to blend in with people because they are one of the most similar horror creature to humans. And they usually try to get in and stay someone’s house who they want to eat at night ,or bring one person they want to eat at night to their place. Even though They look very look like human There are some differences. They usually shown as pale skin, never die of old age, older than their looks, fangs that are grow when they hunt or always sharp, attracts humans, and get weaker when they go out to the sun. For old version of vampires are usually something to fear at and need to defeat or run away from. But recent versions of vampires are shown as more human like personalities, have more ability than old versions of vampires, or something to admire that people want to turn into. Some of movies like ‘Twilight’ series even portrays vampires as something what people want to date with. It’s quite interesting to see what people thought as monster to be avoid much as possible turn in to someone they want to meet and become.
